I don't care about profit!

I was so sad to hear that Aron Eisenberg, the actor who played Nog on DS9, has died at 50. :( His friendship with Jake is one of my favorite parts of the whole show. I knew when Sisko caught them in the cargo bay, ready to open a can of whoop-ass on Jake for breaking his rules, and Jake was teaching Nog to read that DS9 was going to occupy a special place in my heart.

Rest in peace, Aron, and thank you for portraying one of the most interesting and compelling characters in Trek.

That's always been one of my favorite and unforgettable moments too.

Gentle journey, Aron.

Oh, jeez. :( This is a shame. People are lining up to welcome the latest entrant into the great con in the sky...

I never realized he was that much older than I am. That's character bleedthrough, again.

I've heard he was a really nice guy in real life, too. Some friends who do/did Star Trek tie-ins were posting about him.

It is such a shame. He played Nog so well. RIP.

Oh, that's really sad. Nog was my fave non-Sisko character on DS9. <3

I was shocked myself. I got a blurb from Creation Entertainment that 3 of the actors had died that did various Trek eps. He was young, I had the impression everytime I saw him that he was a kid. I'll miss him too. I liked Nog.

Stands to reason we will be losing a lot more as time go on. A lot of them were in there 30 and 40's when they played parts in the earlier Trek shows.
