Amenadiel's taking you to heaven.

Damn, that was a fantastic death scene. Tricia Helfer is easily the best actor on this show, and she and Amenadiel just knocked it out of the park.

Emma doesn't even watch this show, and *she's* crying. LOL

I know! I wanted him to save her so hard, but I think the point was that she had to actually die for him to regain his powers.

She's been so worried about going to hell, and that has resonated so strongly with me, and for her to end up in heaven just gave me all the good tears.

I'm happy she went to heaven but I thought that she was fitting in with them pretty well. I hope Pierce
gets whats coming to him and no one found Maze yet either after what he did to her. I'm going to hate the long wait for season 4.

It was so good, Havoc. I mean, not the stuff with Maze; that was really stupid. But Charlotte has been so phenomenal this season. I love her horror that she's going to hell and how doomed she feels. Man, she's a good actor.

I don't know what's wrong with the writers and Maze. It started out like they were going good places with her finding herself and her own identity and then suddenly - WHAM - she took a turn into Two-Dimensional Shrewlandia and every time I was hoping they were going to flip the script, we were back in the 80s or early 90s and you knew things were just. not. going. to. end. well.

Look, if Lucifer and Cain and Amenadiel and the Unnamed Goddess of All Creation can change and grow, one of Lilith's Daughters can sure as fuck do the same thing. Maybe this will be the trigger?

They've done so well with literally every other character so far, they'd better not fail Maze. And yet. I'm terrified for her.

Tricia Helfer is amazing though. Nonstop. Always. I love her so much.

I agree. It started off really well and nuanced with her and then she just turned into a cardboard villain.

Now I'm doubly upset because the show has been cancelled and I'm sure the season finale is a huge cliff-hanger. I really wish that whenever a show is cancelled, they'd let the cast make one more episode to actually end the show. You can't tell me the networks don't have the money for that; they just don't want to spend it. *pouts*

Plus I know there were episodes that were filmed, but that they held back for next season, including one that Kevin Alejandro (Dan) directed. I'd been really looking forward to that one!

I'm also frustrated with Lucifer's PTB as they did the cliffhanger on purpose so they'd be renewed. Does that ever work?

I didn't know he directed an episode! I would have loved to see that.

As much of a cliffhanger as the finale is, and it is totally a wretched cliffhanger, it's surprisingly satisfying especially re: Maze and Linda.

I'm hoping they'll be on DVDs or on Netflix (or some streaming service) and I can pick them up then.

ABOUT TIME. Linda/Maze is my preferred pairing forever there. FOREVER. There's no other reason for Maze to be so hurt. (In my mind.)
