I really liked both these episodes. I liked the doctor playing cop until it hit too close to home (I did not understand why his car exploded; who targeted him? the one guy who was left? why, how?). I liked all the stuff with Gibbs and therapy. And, wow, Tony. I felt so bad for him. And so bad for Jean. I mean, she's clearly never gotten over him. I will be deeply unhappy, however, if endgame is for them to run away together. Do. Not. Want. They both resisted temptation, she's married to a good guy, and that should stay that.
NOLA was awesome. Loved more of Percy's backstory. Who else thinks a little femslash is in order? Every time she has talked about Marion, I have gotten super lesbian tingles up my spine. Loved LaSalle being such a great friend to her, too. I was kinda pissed at Pride, though. It wasn't like Percy went off on her own; she was on an op; she was following orders. The insinuation that she did something wrong or can't be trusted was as off as the notion of vegan gumbo (we just call that some rice soup, yo).
As an aside, I saw that in the vegan gumbo mix, they had some eggplant, clearly to stand in for the meat. We made the eggplant bacon from the cookbook Exec sent me last week, and while it was tasty, that eggplant could only have tasted like bacon to someone who hadn't eaten meat in thirty years. LOL

Date: 2016-02-25 02:23 am (UTC)my dad insisted we have turkey meatball subs, said he heard that it would taste just like beef. it did not & he never asked for them again. you always hear that tofu takes on the taste of whatever you cook it in. my brother tried it in soup (chicken, i think) and said that's not true either.

Date: 2016-02-27 01:46 am (UTC)I do not like ground turkey at all. Josh bought it once to make larg gai with instead of the ground pork we usually use. Bleck.
