So, we did that
Josh didn't die of appendicitis, but I guess it was pretty close since it took us three days to figure out what was going on. He's in the hospital now; made it through surgery. They were able to do it laproscopically, and it didn't rupture, but it was super infected, so he's got a drain, and he'll be in the hospital for at least two more days. I have never seen in him such pain, y'all, not even when he almost hacked his leg off with the lawn mower. It just about killed me to watch him in such pain; it was physically exhausting. Don't know how much I'll be around; have to check out the hospital wifi. Send good vibes, please. My baby is really, really sick.

He is doing so much better than I thought he would be at this point. I am so relieved.

He's feeling a lot better than he was before the surgery, and I think he'll just continue on that track.

He's doing so much better. His fever won't go down which is a little worrying but not totally unanticipated, but hopefully they'll let us go home on Wednesday.
