through the eyes of a child

I think what has made me happiest about the Gateverse lately is experiencing it again with Emma. She just has such joy for SG-1 and SGA and watching her reactions and listening to her headcanons and her ships and what she thinks might happen next has been a heck of a lot of fun.
She's a Daniel girl all the way for SG-1 and a Sheppard girl for SGA. She really wanted Daniel/Sam and Sheppard/Teyla to be canon. And she thinks O'Neill is too old to have a girlfriend. Ahahhahahhahahahahaa.
The crowning moment is when she wrote an Inuyasha/SGA fusion where the Wraith are destroying ancient Japan and Inuyasha and company must save the world! I could just die from the preciousness.
There is something about a child's enjoyment and wonder that can turn even the most jaded experience into something amazing again. She has given me back the sharpness of joy I initially felt for long-loved books and movies and even the holidays. I am grateful to her for helping me feel that way again.
